Tournament Trail Facts:
In 2018, TAUD will conduct its 8th Season of offering our Members great opportunities to enjoy fishing events not offered by any other State Association in the Water & Wastewater Industry. Just another reason TAUD continues to be a leader in offering its Members more opportunities to get together and network and have some fun while supporting the Tennessee Utility Education Corporation Scholarship Program.
The TAUD Tournament Trail Committee continues its quest of providing TAUD Members and Special Guest with the best most aggressive format for a Member/Guest event. The following information is provided in an effort to communicate facts about the Tournaments and clear up any wrong misconceptions that may have been presented in the past.
  • These events are structured for weekend and casual anglers. No “Guides” or “Pros” allowed.
  • All “Guest” must meet or exceed our Tournament Rules and Regulations on Compliance.
  • These Tournaments are open to any TAUD Member including the following: Utility District & Municipalities (all Departments) any Commissioner of a water board or utility board, State of Tennessee Officials engaged with Water and Wastewater Operations and all Associate Members of TAUD.
  • You do not have to be a Certified Operator or hold a Water/Wastewater designation to complete in these tournaments.
  • The Tournament Trail Committee will enforce its Rules and Regulations to maintain the integrity of all tournament events.
  • We encourage you to invite TAUD Members and have enjoyable time fishing for Bass or Crappie on one of Tennessee’s Legendary Fisheries.
